NYSCC Professional Development Symposium is Oct. 19

One-day, low-cost investment to pay dividends for you and your organization.

The Montclair State University Conference Center in 
Montclair, NJ is the location for the NYSCC’s Professional Development Symposium, which will be held tomorrow, October 19.

This single-day professional development event will enhance your skills and value—both for you and your organization, according to NYSCC. It features top instructors from such stellar professional development organizations as the American Management Association (AMA) and the American Chemical Society (ACS) at a fraction of the cost.

The symposium will consist of your choice of 4- 90 minute sessions from a list of eight possible courses. Seating will be on a first come, first serve basis.

Course options include:

•Delivering Effective Technical Presentations

•Creativity and Innovation

•Effective Supervision of Technologist

•Influencing for Results

•Communicating Up, Down, and Across the Org

•Effective Technical Writing

•Project Management for Technologist

•Time Management

Included in the day is a lunch buffet and networking cocktail event.

Registration fee for NYSCC members is $125; non-members are $150. A corporate group rate (4 or more) is $100.
