The New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists will gather on June 18 at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Madison Campus from 4-8 pm for “Translating Cosmetic Science into Real-World Performance.” This event, chaired by Michael Anthonavage, will offer an evening of substantive, application-driven science.

From barrier recovery and sunscreen inclusivity to neurocosmetics, oral health and women’s wellness, the program covers the terrain where research meets real-world formulation challenges. Each presentation is designed to connect the science on the page to the work happening in labs and development pipelines today, according to NYSCC.

Speakers and presentations include:

  • The Intersection Between Women’s Wellness and Beauty, Giorgio Dell’Acqua
  • The Science of Shampoo Performance: From Formulation to Measurable Consumer Benefit, Roger L. McMullen
