NYSCC Summer/Fall Schedule Update

The New York Chapter of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC) has made a few changes to the summer scheduling, including the postponement of the “2012 Mini Symposia: Malodor,”which had been slated for June 27.

Here’s a look at other NYSCC events scheduled for the summer months:

•July 23— Professional Development Symposium Montclair State University Conference Center Montclair, NJ. Registration begins at 8 a.m. for this one-day event.

• Aug. 3— Golf Outing, Crystal Springs Golf Course in Hamburg, NJ.

• Aug. 15— Workshop at FDU on Skin Biochemistry
Fairleigh Dickinson University in Hackensack, NJ. This event will run from 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.


Looking ahead to Fall, on Sept. 19 NYSCC will hold “The Chemistry of Cooking” at My Cooking Party, Midtown Loft. This event, which runs from 6:00–9:00 p.m. offers a hands-on experience featuring a mixture of Latin American cuisines. For more information please contact:

Lastly, on Oct. 10 NYSCC will host the “2012 Mini Symposia: Effect of sun exposure on skin” at Seasons in Washington Township, NJ.
