O.BERK Company has upgraded and improved both its corporate website, OBERK.com and its ecommerce site, BottleStore.com. The company has also developed a sophisticated electronic catalog of its complete product line to replace the printed Container Sourcebook. In addition, a new packaging service, Custom Label Shop, which debuted on both websites, enables the user to create custom printed labels, bags and hang tags with a low 250 piece minimum order and no shipping charges. “With our corporate website, OBERK.com, the new home page is cleaner and more accessible to our product line, as requested by our customers,” stated Marc M. Gaelen, president and CEO. “The website and e-catalog have more features than we could have envisioned years ago when we first ventured onto the World Wide Web,” continued Mr. Gaelen. First, there are multiple ways to access our product line: by material (glass, plastic, metal), by style (glass bottles, plastic jars, metal cans, caps, droppers, etc.), and by market (cosmetics, healthcare, industrial, and food/beverage). Second, there are two sophisticated search tools that enable the user to search all of our products by keyword (ex. cobalt blue, oblongs, Boston rounds, etc.) and by product specifications (ex. 4-oz, 24-410, round, PET, bottles – all or some of these features). Third, we will continue to highlight our new products, which will be linked to specific catalog pages. Containers that are sold with closures will be linked to BottleStore.com. New sections include Packaging Resources, News & Events (including Press Releases, Trade Shows and “Supply Lines”), and the aforementioned Custom Label Shop. We will continue to support our popular Packaging Reference Guide, which contains technical explanations on all aspects of packaging, important packaging website links, as well as a glossary of terminology used in the industry. In addition, all locations, affiliates and divisions are listed along with driving directions to each one.
