Design studio Webb Scarlett, Chicago, created the new Olay Regenerist package for Procter & Gamble. Regenerist was promoted as a new scientific advancement using fresh, tapered serum and lotion bottles and feminine curves. The crème utilizes an airless pump and undulating applicator with a smooth surface to communicate functionality. The transparent, curved cartons help to display the product as well as expand on-shelf presence, according to Webb Scarlett executives.
Webb Scarlett also created the new face of P&G’s Secret Skin Renewal brand using existing and shared parts with emphasis on the unique, clear cap with a dimensional co-molded flower. Executives said permutations in flower color, cap color and translucency allow P&G many options for range extensions or line updates.
