U.S. Patent No. 7,442,678 B2 The Procter & Gamble Company has been awarded a patent covering a method of treating fabric away from home with a easy to carry applicator. The applicator contains the following composition: 1-3% hydrogen peroxide, 1-4% cleaning solvent, water, 0.1-1% surfactant and cyclodextrin. The composition is free from residue-forming materials selected from emulsifiers, thickening agents and suspending agents. The method includes the application of the composition to the fabric by use of the applicator, and the composition is left to evaporate. After evaporation, the fabric has a score of less than 1.5 according to the Residue Test Method.
