The New York Chapter of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists will hold its fall seminar on Saturday, Oct. 12 at Dickinson Hall, Wilson Auditorium on the FDU-Teaneck Campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University. Scheduled speakers and topics include: Irwin Palefsky, introduction; Michael Birman, seminar moderator; Art Georgalas, emulsion technology; Ken Klein, sunscreen technology; Phil Klepak, antiperspirant technology; Joe Dallal, hair conditioning concepts; Barry Salka, surfactants/shampoo systems and Carl Cappabianca, preservatitves.The event is free to active SCC members, but registration is required. Registration will only be at www.nyscc.org. Deadline for registration is Oct. 9.
