Oral Compositions with Improved Tin Compatability

US Patent No. 11,369,551 B2 (Lawrence Edward Dolan, William Michael Glandorf, Sanjeev Midha, Eva Schneiderman, Carl E. Catrenich, Marianne Zsiska); The Procter & Gamble Company has patented an oral care composition that is contains stannous fluoride, an additional tin compound and  an abrasive comprising spherical silica particles (comprised of a d50 median particle size in a range from about 8 to about 20 μm; a BET surface area in a range from 0 to about 10 m2/g; and a total mercury intrusion pore volume in a range from about 0.2 to about 1.5 cc/g) . The oral care composition has a detection time of bacteria of greater than or equal to about 5.5 hours.
