Church & Dwight Co., Inc, the maker of OxiClean, is launching a first-of-its-kind Dishwashing Booster – designed for the dishwasher to boost the cleaning performance of popular detergents by removing cloudy film, food particles, spots and streaks that detergent alone can leave behind, according to the company. The Dishwashing Booster will be available March 2012 at food, drug, and mass retailers nationwide.

OxiClean Dishwashing Booster was specifically designed for the millions of consumers affected when phosphates were required to be removed from dishwasher detergents in the US in July 2010. OxiClean Dishwashing Booster’s unique multi-action formula dissolves the cloudy film (hard water salts and calcium carbonate) that builds up during the rinse cycle, leaving dishes and glasses clean and pristine, said the company.

“Consumers are disappointed in the cleanliness of their dishes and are looking for a solution,” said Craig Sheehan, director, of the OxiClean brand at Church & Dwight, Co., Inc. “We’re thrilled to offer OxiClean Dishwashing Booster, a product that will revolutionize the way we use our dishwashers.”
