Prestige fragrance manufacturer and distributor Parlux Fragrances, Inc., Fort Lauderdale, FL, has signed of a letter of intent with Paris Hilton to launch a fragrance under her name. Paris Hilton is co-star of Fox’s reality TV series “The Simple Life” and an heiress to the Hilton Hotels fortune. The letter of intent is subject to the execution of a definitive license agreement. Executives said the parties anticipate launching the fragrance before the end of 2004.Ilia Lekach, chairman and chief executive officer of Parlux said, “Paris Hilton is a prominent part of our popular culture, with tremendous U.S. and international following. I believe that the Paris Hilton fragrance will be a terrific addition to the Parlux house of fragrances.”
