Parlux Fragrances Inc., which makes perfume and accessories, said it has been notified by the Nasdaq that it’s out of compliance with the stock exchange’s requirements and in danger of being delisted. Parlux said last week it would delay filing its quarterly report for a second time while it determines the amount of a stock-option charge. The company said it expects to determine the amount of the stock-option expense charge — which is related to adjustments to outstanding warrants resulting from a recent stock split — and file its the quarterly report for the period ended June 30 “as soon as practicable.” Parlux said it will request a hearing before the Nasdaq listing panel and its shares will remain listed until the panel makes a decision.
