The Lubrizol Corporation promoted Vincent S. Misiti to global business manager of Lubrizol’s personal care business and Robert C. Richardson to vice president and general manager of Active Organics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lubrizol Advanced Materials, Inc. (LZAM).

As global business manager, Misiti will be responsible for the strategic market focus of the company’s personal care business, developing and implementing growth strategies, organizational alignment and prioritizing business development initiatives.Additionally, he will work closely with the personal care commercial, technical and platform leaders to drive the global growth and overall business performance.

Since joining Lubrizol in 1994, Misiti has held a variety of marketing and business development leadership positions.He was instrumental in the strategy and transaction support that led to the company’s initial acquisitions in personal care, and through his latest role in corporate development, Misiti led the acquisitions of the Nalco conditioning polymers business and Active Organics.Prior to joining Lubrizol, Misiti spent seven years with ICI Specialties holding various roles in sales, marketing and business development.

Richardson rejoined Lubrizol as business development director for Engineered Polymers in 2010.His previous experience at Lubrizol included program management and business development in addition to roles as technology manager, global marketing manager, regional manager for the equipment manufacturers group and regional sales manager for Lubrizol Additives.Prior to rejoining Lubrizol, Richardson was the chief operating officer for BG Products, Inc., and vice president of technology for The Wynn Oil Company.
