Sakurai of Dow Corning Hogan of Solvay Chemicals Mathes of Rexam Cohn of Haircolorexperts

Dow Corning:  Eriko Sakurai has been named global industry director for marketing for the Dow Corning Corp. life sciences business. She will be responsible for planning and global operational marketing of personal, health and household care products. She was most recently the executive director of marketing and representative director of Avon Japan.
 
Solvay Chemicals:  Richard Hogan has been named president and chief executive officer. He joined the company in 1991 as vice president in charge of commercial operations, and became president in 1994.  In 2003, he was named senior vice president/commercial operations and became executive vice president in 2005.

Robertet: Joseph Lattarulo has been promoted to senior vice president, sales and marketing. His responsibilities include sales, marketing and evaluation for personal care, household and fine fragrances. Mr. Lattarulo joined Robertet in 1996. Most recently, he was vice president of sales and marketing.

Levlad: Heshi Khonsari has joined the company as director of quality assurance. She will assume responsibility for all regulatory and quality assurance activities for the company. Brad Ford has been appointed director of materials. He will oversee all procurement and supply chain management activities for both the branded and private label divisions of the company.

Sexy Hair Concepts: Elizabeth Ann Walker has been named human resources manager.  She will oversee the human resources department and be responsible for employee relations. For the past 16 years, Ms. Walker worked for Avox Systems.

Eric McLemore was promoted to vice president, domestic distributor sales. Michael Coccaro was made national director, domestic distributor sales.

Rexam: Todd Mathes has been named general manager of closures and containers. He will be responsible for the strategic management and direction of the company as well as the day-to-day operation and administration of the three facilities located in Evansville and Princeton, IN and Madisonville, KY.  Mr. Mathes began his career with Rexam in 1989 and has held several positions including engineer, plant manager, business unit manager and vice president of chemicals market. 

Haircolorexperts: Jim Cohn has been named director of product sales and development for haircolorxperts salons. In this new position, he will create partnerships between product manufacturers and haircolorxperts franchisees to educate company hairdressers to recommend products to support their clients’ salon services.

Esteé Lauder: Patricia Dente has joined the company as executive director, global communications, North America. She will be responsible for leading the North American PR effort and maximizing press coverage in national, regional, TV, radio and trade press across the skin care, makeup and fragrance categories.

Melissa McCarthy will be relocating to Los Angeles as vice president, global communications, West Coast. Mika Bailey was promoted to executive director, international communications.
