The latest innovation at Peter Thomas Roth is ideal for an at-home facial treatment. Revealed in a Zoom event with beauty editors on Aug. 25, the new Pro Strength 10% PHA Exfoliating Clarifying Liquid ($58) rolls out at Sephora in September.
According to the company, this breakthrough formula is a daily leave-on exfoliating and clarifying liquid is packed with an expert-level concentration of 10% gluconolactone (PHA) and boosted by 5% glycolic acid and 0.5% salicylic acid to reduce the look of acne and transform skin’s appearance.
And, the results? The company shared that 10% gluconolactone (PHA) provides advanced surface exfoliation that is gentle yet effective, helping to improve the overall clarity of acne-prone skin and reduce the look of uneven texture and tone. Furthermore, 5% glycolic acid (AHA), 0.5% salicylic acid (BHA), 5% lactic acid (AHA) and lipohydroxy acid (LHA) help boost results while removing excess oil. Ceramides and a 5% Super Lipid Complex work to combat any post-treatment dryness to leave skin looking healthier and more radiant.
