The Household and Commercial Products Association (HCPA) will host a two-part webinar series to provide attendees with the tools to determine legal and regulatory reporting requirements and perform due diligence to be compliant with the PFAS reporting rule.

Michael Boucher, a partner at Steptoe, will explain the regulatory requirements of the rule, including the statutory basis for the rule, the substances subject to the rule, the reportable data elements, and timeline to report. There will also be a discussion on the “extent known to or reasonably ascertainable by” the manufacturer according to the rule.

Part two will be led by Sweta Ojha, Ph.D., toXcel, LLC, as she explains the due diligence activities that companies will need to perform to satisfy the requirements of the rule. The presentation will also include examples to illustrate the complexity and potential diverse scenarios a company could encounter.
