P&G Agrees to $8 Million Settlement in Benzene Class Action

Admits no wrong doing in class action regarding its aerosol products.

Procter & Gamble has reportedly agreed to pay up to $8 million as part of settlement regarding claims that benzene was found in select aerosol products. The settlement news was posted by the Cincinnati Business Journal and the website Top Class Action.

Claims about benzene in aerosol products has been previously reported by Happi.com.

P&G admitted no wrong doing in the settlement, according to the reports.

According to Top Class Action, the final approval hearing for the Procter & Gamble benzene products settlement is scheduled for May 30, 2023.
