P&G Executive Joins LA Meat Processor

In a move from laundry detergent to lamb processing, Procter & Gamble president who will retire later this month has been hired to lead brand development for JBS, a Brazilian company that is the world’s largest processor of beef, lamb and poultry. Tarek Farahat, who will retire at the end of the month as president of Latin America selling and market operations for Cincinnati-based P&G, will become global president of the new marketing and innovation management team for JBS worldwide on Oct 1. He will report to the CEO of JBS, Wesley Batista.
