Procter & Gamble is expected by analysts to report increases in profit and revenue Friday. They say the company has maintained its leadership position in key brands such as razors, toothpaste, detergent and diapers.

Analysts are expecting P&G to report fiscal fourth quarter earnings of $0.82 a share, compared with $0.71 a year earlier. Revenue is estimated to increase to $20.6 billion from $18.9 billion, according to a poll of analysts by Thomson Reuters. With management recently acknowledging concerns regarding growth in developed nations, investors will be focused on any slippage in consumer demand, especially in the U.S.
