P&G Opens ‘Family Home’ During Winter Olympics

Team USA members and their families to be pampered in Vancouver.

Procter & Gamble will welcome U.S. Olympic athletes and their families in Vancouver at the P&G Family Home, which will provide Team USA with a place to come together in an inviting and comfortable environment for the duration of the Olympic Winter Games.

More than 300 athletes and coaches will be on the 2010 U.S. Olympic Team, and each one will have the opportunity to take advantage of the P&G Family Home at no cost, according to P&G.

The P&G Family Home, which will be open from Feb. 11-28, will offer 24/7 coverage of the Olympic Winter Games in special viewing lounges as well as an internet café, complimentary food and drink, and a Pampers play area for toddlers. Plus, P&G will offer special pampering for moms at the P&G Beauty and Grooming Salon and Spawith quick refreshes to complete makeovers by Pantene, Covergirl, Olay, Venus and Secret, as well as a Crest/Oral B Smile Center and complimentary Tide laundry service.

“As proud partner of the U.S. Olympic Team, we are excited to support America’s Olympic athletes and look forward to hosting them and their families at the P&G Family Home during the Olympic Winter Games,” said Kirk Perry, vice president, North America for P&G. “The Family Home will serve as the home-away-from-home for Team USA and those that mean the most to them.”

P&G’s Olympic sponsorship of Team USA includes the 2010 U.S. Olympic Team and the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team.
