P&G Professional Represented on ISSA Board

International Sanitary Suppliers Association (ISSA) Board of Directors named Alan Tomblin, sales manager, North America, P&G Professional to the 2014 board. Tomblin will serve as vice president/president elect of the association’s board when he takes office next month.
 
In this new role, Tomblin will serve as understudy for the president; serve as board chair in the absence of the president and as board representative to the ISSA Foundation. He will also act as stand-in for the president when requested and will plan for responsibilities, events and appointments for the following year.
 
“It’s an honor to be a part of the 2014 ISSA Board of Directors,” said Tomblin. “I look forward to serving ISSA’s membership and helping to lead the organization in what is sure to be an exciting year ahead.”
Tomblin assumes his duties as vice president/president elect at the ISSA General Meeting on Nov. 21, 2013, during ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America 2014 in Las Vegas. As part of his three-year-term on the board of directors, Tomblin will assume the role of president and board chairman in 2015 and the international director and immediate past president in 2016.
 
His past experience with ISSA includes serving as manufacturer director on the board of directors (2008 – 2010) as well as in an advisory capacity to several ISSA and Young Executives Society (YES) committees and roundtable discussion groups. He is an ISSA Certification Expert (I.C.E.) and is a graduate of the ISSA-co-sponsored University of Industrial Distribution.
