Talk about good, clean fun! Pert Plus, which started the 2-in-1 shampoo plus conditioner trend back in the 1980s, has claimed two Guinness World Records for the “World’s Largest Shower” and the “Most People Showering Simultaneously at a Single Venue.”

By building the world’s largest shower to mark the launch of Pert Plus for Men, Pert Plus has claimed two Guinness World Records.
On July 9, Pert Plus attempted the records by showering 145 people in a 4,000-sq.-ft. shower at Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor in Gurnee, IL.Pert Plus made the attempts to mark the launch of the new Pert Plus for Men line, which features the brand’s first-ever 3-in-1 shampoo plus conditioner plus body wash.

To earn the largest shower record, Pert Plus built a custom shower structure that measured 100 ft. long and 40 ft. wide. The previous record holders for the world’s largest shower were Ludacris and Tommy Lee who set the record in 2008 during the show “Battleground Earth.” There was no previous record holder for the most people showering simultaneously.
