Procter & Gamble Co. has been “incubating” DS3, a line of liquid-free cleaning products that range from hand wash and shampoo to toilet cleaner. The line, which was on Indiegogo and shipped out a small amount of products to platform backers, now has a dedicated website, ds3clean.com. The DS3 product is a square dry “swatch” that when water is added, foams and lathers to tackle specific tasks in different ways; the Throne Foam Toilet Cleaner, for example, is designed to be dropped in the toilet overnight, while to wash one’s hands, water added to the swatch transforms into a foam. Procter & Gamble displayed DS3 in its LifeLab booth at CES 2019.
