Patent No. US 6,939,844 B2: A concentrated, biodegradable, quaternary ammonium fabric softener composition containing cationic polymers and process for preparation has been patented by Cincinnati-based Procter & Gamble. The fabric softener is a softening compound comprised essentially of 10% to about 60% by weight of the composition of a silicone and a cationic polymer comprising a galactomannan gum from about 0.001% to about 10% by weight of the composition.
