Pureology Product Is First Certified Under GS-50

GS-50 is lifecycle-based. In addition to environmental requirements for issues such as aquatic toxicity, biodegradability and packaging, it establishes criteria for health and safety concerns, prohibiting carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, endocrine disruptors, formaldehyde, parabens and phthalates, among other health hazards. The standard also requires disclosure for all product ingredients and contains definitions for common product claims.Additionally, certified products must meet performance requirements to ensure that compliance does not result in a sacrifice of product quality.

Pureology Precious Oil Versatile Caring Oil contains 100% biodegradable, silicon and paraben-free formulas and is 100% vegan. The professional hair care product recharges all types of colored-treated hair and features sunflower seed oil for softness, coconut oil for elasticity, olive oil for shine and jojoba seed oil for moisture.
