Reduce Liquid Laundry Packet Accidents

In 2015 alone, there have been more than 10,000 exposures to liquid laundry packets in children 5 and younger. In fact, a recent American Cleaning Institute  study shows that 61% of parents are still storing laundry packets in-sight or in-reach of children.  


To help educate the public and industry leaders on the importance of practicing laundry safety, ACI recently partnered with Safe Kids Worldwide and the Drug & Poison Information Center -Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center for a laundry packet safety webinar to share stats on exposures throughout the US, what the industry is doing to help reduce these accidental exposures (including a new voluntary ASTM Standard) and preventative messaging for practicing safe laundry habits around young children.
