RenovaCare Adds Steven Q. Wang to Board

Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center doctor takes role at firm creating innovative stem cell skin wound treatment.

Biotech company RenovaCare, Inc., developer of patented CellMist and SkinGun technologies for isolating and spraying a patient’s own stem cells onto burns and wounds for rapid self-healing, has added Steven Q. Wang to its board of advisors. Dr. Wang is Head of Dermatology Section and Director of Dermatologic Surgery and Dermatology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in Basking Ridge, NJ.
“Dr. Wang brings exceptional skin care expertise to the company and has been recognized throughout his career as an outstanding and compassionate dermatologist and skin treatment specialist,” said Thomas Bold, president and CEO of RenovaCare, Inc. “We look forward to working with Wang and his guidance as we further develop our technology to its full potential and becomes leading course of treatment for burns and other skin maladies.”
Wang is also the co-founder of the Nanodermatology Society, and serves on the board of Photomedicine Society and Photobiology Committee of the Skin Cancer Foundation. He has published more than 85 scientific papers and book chapters and has authored three books. He also lectures extensively on the subject of skin cancer around the world and the United States.
