The perfumes and cosmetics group of LVMH has confirmed it is in the process of restructuring Guerlain, Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of the French fragrance and cosmetics house. The move is in response to the resignation of Marjorie Wollan, who had been president and chief executive officer of the company for nearly four years. Ms. Wollan will leave the company early next year. Camille McDonald, current president and CEO of Parfums Givenchy Inc. and American Fragrances LLC, will add this position to her existing role in LVMH.

“Marjorie Wollan has made valuable contributions to the positioning and development of Guelain in the U.S.,” said Thibault Ponroy, president of Guerlain Worldwide. “We wish her well in her new endeavors. In reviewing our next options, we decided to take advantage of the complementary mission for brand development in the U.S. Shared by Guerlain and Givenchy.”

Guerlain is seeking a general manager for Guerlain, Inc., who will take sales, marketing and operations responsibility for the Guerlain and Kenzo brands in the U.S. The new position will report to Ms. McDonald.
