Revlon Appoints Pamela Vaile, Senior VP- Global Product Development

Revlon, Inc. today announced the appointment of Pamela Vaile to the position of senior vice president, global product development, effective October 1, 2002. Ms. Vaile replaces Donna Barasch, who left the company to pursue other career opportunities.

In this position, Ms. Vaile will lead the product development group and will be responsible for developing both U.S. and global based cosmetics, skin care and fragrance brands for the Revlon, Almay and Portfolio Brands. Ms. Vaile will report directly to Ms. Debra Leipman-Yale, executive vice president, global general manager, Revlon brand.

Ms. Vaile founded Pamela Vaile Associates in 1994, a successful consulting firm specializing in product development in color cosmetics, skin care, bath and body, hair care, fine fragrances and personal care products. Her firm’s clientele included Avon, Victoria’s Secret, Ann Taylor, Estee Lauder, L’Oreal Paris, LVMH, Sara Lee, Hard Candy, Laura Mercier, Sears, JC Penney, Warner Brothers and Disney, to name a few. Prior to starting her own company, she worked for Borghese Inc. from 1991 to 1994, where she was instrumental in developing new products and product lines for their color cosmetics business. In 1988 she joined Limited, Inc. and was instrumental in the 1990 launch of their Bath and Body Works product line. Ms. Vaile spent 10 years at Avon Products, Inc. creating new product programs in color cosmetics, fragrance and skincare in both the U.S. and global markets. She began her career in 1976 at L’Oreal and Lancome at Cosmair.
