Revlon announced today that rising actress and long-time fashion icon James King has joined the company’s exclusive group of spokespeople including Halle Berry, Julianne Moore, Caroline Ribeiro and Rhea Durham. King, co-star of the epic film “Pearl Harbor,” will appear in a variety of advertising campaigns for the company.

Ms. King will make her debut as a Revlon spokesperson in a television campaign to support the company’s number one lip product, Super Lustrous Lipstick. The campaign is scheduled to break nationally in February, 2002. King will also appear in various print and television advertising campaigns for the Revlon brand. In addition, King will participate in select corporate and promotional events for the company.

“James is incredibly versatile,” stated Cheryl Vitali, Revlon executive vice president and general manager. “Her spirited personality transcends both print and film. Her striking beauty, confidence and talent make her a perfect addition to the Revlon family,” Ms. Vitali said.

In addition to Pearl Harbor, Ms. King has appeared in Blow with Johnny Depp and will soon star in Slackers and Lonestar State Of Mind for release later this year. She soon begins filming MGM’s Bulletproof Monk in the lead female role along with stars Chow Yun-Fat and Seann William Scott.

Commenting on her new relationship with Revlon, Ms. King stated, “This is a dream come true for me and I am thrilled to be representing such an iconic brand as Revlon.”
