Two new products for hair care formulations.

Rhodia (Booth No. F550) has rolled out two new ingredients for hair care formulations. Jaguar C500 is a new conditioning guar polymer for formulating weightless volume shampoos and conditioners that give fine hair unmatched body and silkiness, according to Rhodia. The material is derived from natural guar beans and is designed to make hair feel light, manageable and infused with volume. New Miracare SLB is a high-performance surfactant system that enables formulators to create hair care products that moisturize, protect and repair, according to Rhodia. Its liquid crystal surfactant technology makes it easy to create tunable textures and different product aesthetics for shampoo, conditioner and personal cleansing formulations. Other Rhodia products for cleansing formulations include: • Mackam BAB, a mild amphoteric surfactant derived from organic babassu oil; • Mackanate Ultra Si, a silicone-based sulfosuccinate with excellent foam stability; • Mirasheen Star, a pearlizing agent that is easily added to rinse-off formulations; and • Mackaderm GCP, a formaldehyde and paraben-free antimicrobial emollient. Other Rhodia products for hair care formulations include: • Polycare Boost, a high-performance hair conditioning system that boosts shine; • Mackpro Plus, a vegetable-derived cationic conditioning protein; • Mackine 301, a fatty amido amine that provides conditioning performance for softer and naturally-based conditioning; and • Mackconditioner Brite, an easy-to-use system for high-performance conditioning.
