Ride with Soul; Share your Care! The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) Cosmetic and Fragrance Alumni Association (CAFAA)  presents its first annual charitable event in partnership with L'Oréal USA’s Women in Digital and SoulCycle, the empowering indoor cycling class in New York.  On Monday, May 20 at 8:30pm, FIT alumni association members, L'Oréal USA Women in Digital, and industry friends alike are invited to ride for a cause at SoulCyle, 140 East 63rd St., New York, NY.

With a minimum goal per rider of $500 per bike, participants actively support fundraising for a college scholarship to benefit a graduate of Girls Who Code to pursue a degree in technology and related fields. Girls Who Code is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to closing the gender gap in the technology and engineering sectors.  The Fashion Institute of Technology Alumni Association has already contributed $2,000 towards this cause and, by clipping into bikes, attendees also support engaging and encouraging girls to click with a future in computer science and beyond.

Participants will have the chance to ride alongside Marc Speichert, chief marketing officer of L'Oréal USA, co-chair of L'Oréal USA Women in Digital, proponent of Girls Who Code and avid indoor cyclist. Following the class, cool off and celebrate together with complimentary Juice Press smoothies.
