MEXICO: The RITA Corporation announced the recent expansion of its sister company, Industria Quimica del Centro (IQC), with the opening of a new, state-of-the-art ethoxylation and propoxylation plant in Toluca, Mexico. Following a two-year construction process, Industria Quimica de Toluca was commissioned by Pemex on the new EO/PO facility. With 150,000 metric tons of capacity, the facility will augment IQC’s already existing capabilities of esterification, amidization, sulfonation, fractionalization and lanolin and lanolin derivatives.
