Sabinsa Wins 2023 Technology Innovation Award in China for LactoSpore

LactoSpore is a preferred probiotic for many functional food manufacturers globally due to its natural mechanism of being stable and retaining functionality.

Sabinsa (Nanjing) Biotech Company won the 2023 Technology Innovation Award at the Third Food Formula Innovation Show for its product LactoSpore – Weizmannia coagulans MTCC 5856 (Bacillus coagulans). 
 
“The market for LactoSpore is growing exponentially as it has become a preferred probiotic for many functional food manufacturers globally due to its natural mechanism of being stable, even in adverse environmental conditions, and retaining its functionality in various functional foods,” said Dr. Muhammed Majeed, founder and chairman of Sami-Sabinsa Group.
 
Top global corporations as well as Chinese homegrown majors from the functional food, food and dairy product categories presented their innovations at the forum. Out of 150 technologies and projects presented at the forum, 20 submissions were recognized and awarded. These innovations were evaluated based on criteria including degree of innovation, cost optimization, market value and customer benefits.
