Safelite AutoGlass has forged a new partnership with Procter & Gamble

Glass repair company Safelite AutoGlass has forged a new partnership with Procter & Gamble in which it will provide customers with Febreze car vent clips and a $.50 off coupon for their next Febreze car vent clip purchase upon completing the auto glass repair or replacement service.

To introduce the campaign, updated Safelite television ads launched in July and air on major broadcast and cable channels nationwide. The program is supported by digital and social media.

Safelite first partnered with P&G to test the effect of a car vent clip leave-behind in July 2013. Results of the pilot proved positive with almost 75% of customers saying they either loved or liked the free sample and nearly 60% said they were likely to purchase another one. The campaign with P&G will last through Sept. 30 and will be re-evaluated at that time, according to SafeLite.
