Dabbagh Named General Manager of Waldencast Ventures’ Glaze Brand

The former L’Oréal executive will focus on cultivating partnerships with Target and Amazon.

Said Dabbagh has been appointed general manager of the Glaze brand within Waldencast Ventures Portfolio
 
In his new role, Dabbagh will spearhead the brand's strategic growth initiatives. Tasked with expanding Glaze's presence across the US, he will focus on cultivating strong partnerships with retail giants such as Target and Amazon. Additionally, he will lead efforts to launch Glaze into new international markets, driving global brand recognition and market penetration.

From Fekkai to L’Oréal 

Dabbagh is an accomplished marketing leader with over 17 years’ experience in brand-building holding both global and local market positions, across a diverse range of business scales from large multi-national corporations to dynamic founder-led startups. Most recently, he co-founded the skincare brand Dr. Idriss with Dr. Shereene Idriss, which he built from the bottom up and brought to market including inking the retail detail with Sephora. He also held the position of interim chief marketing officer (CMO) of the ready-to-drink cocktail brand Thomas Ashbourne working alongside celebrities Neil Patrick Harris, Rosario Dawson and Sarah Jessica Parker, to name a few.
 
Prior to this, Dabbagh was CMO at Fekkai brands where he was responsible for driving the overall strategy, planning, and operations for marketing and digital innovation. He executed a complete reboot of the brand identity alongside founder, from resetting creative and strategic vision, leading the re-launch of the brand’s website and DTC platform, dramatically expanding the category footprint and product pipeline to launching strategic consumer marketing initiatives. 
 
Dabbagh’s earlier experience also includes a role as a former marketing executive at L’Oréal USA, leading brand and marketing strategy for L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline and Garnier where he demonstrated an ability to adapt and pivot to changing business environments, market dynamics, product categories, channels of distribution, and marketing strategies to achieve business growth and maximize brand value.
