Sally Beauty Picks Up Design Essentials

Ethnic hair care line hits stores in time for Black History Month.

As women of color continue to break through beauty barriers, hair care brand Design Essentials will bring its Design Essentials Natural line within reach to consumers at Sally Beauty Supply Stores nationwide during Black History Month, kicking off today.

This retail debut marks the first time in the brand’s more than 20-year history when select Design Essentials products will be made available to consumers outside the doors of salons. Manufactured by McBride Research Laboratories (MRL), Design Essentials has been renowned for more than two decades as a global hair care brand comprised of premium salon-quality products.
