SC Johnson announced the recipients of its 2017 Top Supplier Awards. The suppliers are recognized for achievements in customer service, quality, sustainability, value and innovation excellence. Winners were announced May 9, 2017, during a SC Johnson supplier recognition event in Chicago. The event paid tribute to suppliers that contributed to the company's growth and highlighted the company's commitment to quality and innovation. “It's an honor to celebrate these world-class companies for their excellence in quality, innovation and customer service,” said Kelly M. Semrau, SVP-global corporate affairs, communication and sustainability at SC Johnson. “We value our partnerships with our excellent suppliers.” The 2017 Top Supplier Award recipients are: Quality Excellence Award: Leading Edge Labels Leading Edge Labels is a provider of label printing and packaging. The company was recognized for its commitment to delivering high quality products. Customer Service Excellence Award: Sarten Sarten earned the award for its track record of swift response times and for improving supply chain performance year after year. Sarten is a manufacturer of cans and valves. Innovation Excellence Award: Bemis Bemis received an Innovation Award for delivering product quality and strength, while meeting an aggressive timeline. Bemis is a global manufacturer of flexible packaging products. Innovation Excellence Award: Lonza Lonza, with its proven record of innovation and execution, received an Innovation Award for its role in helping SC Johnson launch new products. Sustainability Excellence Award: WestRock WestRock is a global paper and packaging company. It was recognized for its commitment to sustainability and recycled packaging. Value Excellence Award: Fareva Fareva was honored for its drive for continuous improvement, supply chain management and opportunities for collaborative processes. Supplier of the Year Award: Silgan Dispensing Systems Silgan Dispensing was awarded for superior leadership on customer service, commitment to sustainability and superior innovation – attributes that make up a world-class company and a world-class partner.
