The Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC) has announced its newest member benefit, sponsored by the Good Face Project.

All SCC members will have one-year complimentary access to Good Face Project’s R&D software where they can evaluate an unlimited number of raw materials and create up to 25 formulations, integrating real-time regulatory screening across US federal and state cosmetic regulations, and more than 100 available add-on policies.

Beyond regulatory workflows, Good Face’s software enables formulation and formula specifications, raw material validation and management, flexible management of private chemical policies (brand blacklists), automated QQ, QIL and Batch Card creation. It also includes AI-enabled features such as consumer sentiment analysis, product doppelgangers and reverse engineering.

“We are thrilled to have Good Face provide SCC members with access to an objective, data-driven solution to enable real-time assessment of global regulatory and retail compliance of their formulations during the critical product development stage,” said SCC’s CEO Erica O’Grady, CAE.

Good Face Project Co-Founder and CEO, Iva Teixeira added, “We are revolutionizing the industry with our cutting-edge R&D cloud platform, powered by AI, and a team of expert data scientists, chemists, and toxicologists. As the only software designed to rapidly evolve with our industry, we are excited to share our technology with the SCC community. Good Face is here to enable education for all, and to continue developing best practices with those who innovate.”
