SCC Unveils Program for 2012 Annual Meeting • The Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC) and the Committee on Scientific Affairs (COSA) has announced the program for the 2012 Annual Meeting and Technology Showcase, which will be held on Dec. 6-7 at its traditional venue, the New York Hilton in New York City. The 2012 Maison de Navarre Medal Award, the Society’s highest honor, will be presented to Dr. Karl Lintner. The award presentation will be made on Thursday at the “Theresa Cesario Awards Luncheon” held in conjunction with the Annual Scientific Meeting. He is being recognized for his outstanding contributions to the Society’s understanding of the structure and function of skin. In addition, the 2012 SCC Merit Award will be presented to Joseph Pavlichko. This award presentation will be made at the Friday Luncheon. More info: www.scconline.org
