This month, Sephora and The Skin Cancer Foundation unveiled the fifth edition of its Sun Safety Kit ($25). This annual partnership in sun protection is one of Sephora’s most popular kits, according to the company. The collection features SPF must-haves where 100% of the net profits will benefit The Skin Cancer Foundation.

“Today’s beauty products offer effective sun protection in lightweight and targeted formulations so now there’s no excuse to skip the SPF,” said Melanie McGuire, Sephora’s vice president of education.“We’re proud that Sephora’s 2011 Sun Safety Kit contains an incredible selection to provide alternatives, all while protecting the skin from UVA and UVB exposure.”

“We can’t thank Sephora enough for their ongoing support,” said Perry Robins, MD, president, The Skin Cancer Foundation, “This is a tremendous program that not only demonstrates their commitment to sun safety education, but provides significant funding that helps us to fulfill our mission… We are delighted to be partnering with them for the fifth consecutive year.”

This year’s selection includes past favorites, as well as new “sizable” additions for your sun protection arsenal, all in generous, larger sizes. Complete with a bonus travel and beach-friendly tote bag and a Sun Safety Tip Card featuring The Skin Cancer Foundation’s prevention guidelines, everyone can have a fun – and safe summer.
