Shanghai Henkel Launches Fa in China

Shanghai Henkel Daily Use Products Services Co., Ltd. has launched the Fa personal care line in China. To celebrate the debut of Fa (Ning Mei), the company held a launch party at the Beijing Shangri-La Grand Hotel on August 25.

The Fa series includes seven products including moisturizing cream, body lotion, hand cream, 2 in 1 cleanser & toner, hydro-light cream and hydro-light lotion. The products contain a special water-balance system that can lock in and supplement the water the skin needs and form a protective membrane just above the surface of the skin to help botanical and other ingredients penetrate the skin quickly and effectively.

“Henkel believes the consumers can give the brand a good market share,” said Diethich Ohlmeyer, marketing director of Shanghai Henkel. “We will improve the quality of the products and use massive advertising and promotion activity to gain our purpose. We believe even more prosperous future lies ahead.”

Shanghai Henkel product manager Christina Yu, added, “Fa is positioned for Chinese women aged between 18-35 years old and is a the medium-priced line. Fa launched seven kinds of products at this time and will launch more in 2001.”
