US Patent No. 8,080,238 B2; Shiseido Company, Ltd., Tokyo, has patented an oil-based cosmetic for eyelashes. It is comprised of a base, dextrin fatty acid ester selected from dextrin palmitate and dextrin palmitate/octanoate, a sucrose fatty acid ester selected from sucrose acetostearate and sucrose tetraisostearate and an oil component selected from microcrystalline wax, polyethylene wax, carnauba wax and beeswax.
