At the recently-concluded In-Cosmetics, Silab rolled out Instensyl, its fourth generation of tensor. Based on new technology making use of sugar cross-linking agents, the 3D molecular structure of Instensyl quickly adheres, spreads and forms in five minutes a viscoelastic film on the skin’s surface.

According to Silab, this stable, cohesive cassava glucan biopolymer (Manihot Esculenta) produces an immediate lifting and smoothing effect. Furthermore, it produces a rapid tensor effect in only five minutes that lasts for up to four hours. Instensyl also provides immediate smoothing anti-wrinkle properties for both young and mature skin types. In fact, 90% of the trained panel said they felt an immediate tensor effect.

Instensyl joins other Silab tensors, including: Tensine, obtained from wheat purified protein; Polylift, a sweet almond protein biopolymer and Osilift, and its purified polyose fraction derived from oats.
