Merlot brand donates hand sanitizers to tornado victims.

Merlot Skin Care is donating Merlot Hand Cream Plus Sanitizer to those affected by the devastating tornado in Joplin, Miss. According to the company, 11,000 pieces of Hand Cream Plus Sanitizer have been sent to Missouri’s State Emergency Management Agency to be distributed to victims and relief workers digging through the debris.Merlot Skin Care hopes to lend a hand by softening the hands of those working to restore Joplin. UPS is partnering with Merlot in this effort by covering the freight charges. Merlot Skin Care is based in El Paso, TX.Merlot products are made in the U.S. The company was feature in Happi’s feature on Up and Coming Skin Care brands. The Merlot line was first sold in five Walgreens stores, and from there it spread to chain-wide distribution (7,000+) and all Ulta stores. Additionally, Merlot can be found in winery and hotel gift shops and online.
