Skinvisible, Inc. announced that it is commissioning a second study by Retroscreen Virology Ltd. of Skinvisible’s patent-pending Chlorhexidine Hand Sanitizer, developed by its wholly owned subsidiary, Skinvisible Pharmaceuticals. The first study’s results demonstrated that the Chlorhexidine Hand Sanitizer had a greater than 99 % kill on the Bird Flu Virus at four time points of 15 seconds, 30 seconds, one minute and five minutes. The purpose of the second study, expected to be completed within six weeks, is to demonstrate that its patented delivery system, Invisicare, ensures coverage of the sanitizer on the hands for an extended period of time, while resisting both wash-off and rub-off during that time.
