Soap Opera Spawns Beauty Line

CBS drama "The Bold and The Beautiful" inks licensing deal.

Brand management firm Paid, Inc., and CBS daytime drama “The Bold and The Beautiful” have tapped Stone America LLC to develop and license The Bold and The Beautiful and “Forrester Creations” merchandise, including beauty products.

The Emmy Award winning CBS drama series, which for 23 years has focused on the lives of a Beverly Hills fashion dynasty, has 35 million viewers a day in more than 100 countries, making it the most watched series in its genre worldwide, according to principals involved in the deal.

“This licensing program will extend the television viewing experience into the lives of our viewers in an authentic, fun and exciting way,” said Bradley P. Bell, the show’s executive producer and head writer. “We’re excited to work with Paid and Stone America to provide new products and fresh experiences for our worldwide fan base.”

Stone America’s current client list includes companies such as Laura Ashley, Bed Head TIGI, CON Surfboards, US Speedskating, American Bass Anglers and others.
