to launch software that takes
users all the way from packaging
structure conceptualization to the creation
of final packaging materials,
skipping what customers have labeled
a “chaotic internal and external
process,” executives said in a statement.
Automation will help to speed
the production cycle, cut costs and
accelerate new product pipelines,
according to executives. The software
also incorporates production and
design engineering and output-toprint
stages in two-dimensional labels
on three-dimensional products, pointof-
purchase displays and advertising.
“Both D2L and Esko-Graphics have
focused on collapsing development
cycle time and reducing direct development
costs from initial product concept,
the growth the global projection
of real time collaboration to output
and the initiation of production,” said
