Solutions for Hair, Sun and Skin Care from Croda

During In-Cosmetics, the power of Croda was on display as the company highlighted an array of products for various personal care categories. For sun care, Solaveil SpeXtra combines UVA and UVB protection. These titanium dioxide dispersions allow the formulator to create high SPF and broad spectrum products with a single ingredient.

For hair care formulators, Voluminis is a new copolymer of hydrolyzed wheat protein and a cationic monomer that forms films, and controls charge repulsion and reduction of fiber-fiber cohesion. According to Croda, the end result is a dramatic increase in volumizing benefits compared to simple hydrolyzed wheat proteins.

For skin care formulators, three new OptaSense liquid dispersion polymers have been rolled out. OptaSense RMA 100 and OptaSense RMA 110 are said to be easy-to-use, smart thickeners that can be used in both hot and cold processes to create luxurious O/W formulations. OptaSense RMA-IS reportedly provides robust and efficient thickening for O/W emulsions at low usage levels.

Finally, for every formulator, Croda’s new Emulsifier Selector tool provides a wide range of emulsification options.
