Soorty Debuts Collagen Denim

Anti-aging skincare jeans feature collagen in the fabric.

Now beauty shoppers can wear their collagen with Soorty’s denim for 2025.

Soorty  recently rolled out this technology touted for its “wellness science and denim craftsmanship.”

At the core of Collagen Denim is Umorfil Technology, a material enriched with collagen peptides. Derived from wasted fish scales—an abundant byproduct of the seafood industry—this innovative approach upcycles food waste into the skin-friendly technology.

According to the company, these peptides enhance the fabric’s potential to support skin hydration, making it particularly suited for individuals with sensitive skin. The material also delivers “exceptional softness, a luxurious handfeel, and superior shape retention for a consistently perfect fit,” said the company.

“Imagine jeans that care for you. Crafted with precision and science, Collagen Denim is rooted in functionality, well-being, and inclusivity. Infused with collagen peptides for skin-soothing benefits, it opens endless possibilities for denim designers—from serving as an ideal foundation for adaptive clothing to offering anyone a refreshing, luxurious feel. We’re happy to deliver the joy of effortless luxury in jeans, showcasing the transformative power of thoughtful textiles,” said Eda Dikmen, senior marketing and communications manager at Soorty.
