Special REACH Session Set for SDA Annual Meeting

What’s new and what’s next in REACH will be unveiled at a special information session at the Soap and Detergent Association (SDA) Annual Meeting on Jan. 29 in Florida. The event will take place from 2:30-4 p.m. at the Boca Raton Resort & Club in the Grand Ballroom D, Mizner Center.

Cristina Arregui, REACH Manager of the European Fragrance and Flavour Association (EFFA), will cover the following aspects:
•    What is the situation now that the pre registration phase is over?
•    Do we have statistics on the pre registration phase? What do they tell           us?
•    How about the next steps? What are they and what’s the timing?
•    What can the fragrance industry and its trade associations do to ease      the  process?

Jean-Pierre Houri, director general of IFRA, will cover the issue of globalization of REACH:
•    Can REACH be globalized?
•    Should we globalize REACH?
•    What would that entail?
